Madlen and Marc Simon, principals of SIMON DESIGN architecture + interiors, have been in practice since 1983, with offices in the New York City and Washington, DC areas. SIMON DESIGN specializes in the total design of the built environment, integrating furniture, art, functional, and decorative objects into their architecture. The Simons, both graduates of Princeton University, bring a broad range of experiences to architecture. Marc is an architect and artist, who has exhibited in New York City, where he is also active in commercial real estate for the design and fashion industries. Madlen is an architect and educator, currently Visiting Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Maryland.
